Demeter Gardens has been providing professional gardening and lawn care services since 2022. With a Certificate III in horticulture and two years of previous experience working as a gardener before starting the business, we have the training and experience to give you the quality service you deserve.

Our mowing service includes edging, mowing and blowing all hard surfaces. We also catch all of our grass for a neat and tidy finish.

We can help manage weeds in your gardens, on your hard surfaces or in you lawn. We use a range of products so we will have the right option for your situation. All chemical applications are done by a certified professional.
Hedging
We do all sorts of hedging. If it is a once-off reduction or regular maintenance. If it is big or small. We have the skills and the tools for the job.
Garden tidy-up
Does your garden need some attention? We can come up with a plan to help get your garden looking fresh. You will be given the details before we start any garden tidy-up so that you can feel confident in the result.
Your Questions, Answered
Is green waste removal extra?
Generally, no. Green waste removal is included in our standard services. Be it small lawns, big lawns or hedging. Additional green waste fees may apply for things like hedge reductions or tree trimming but we will always let you know if this is the case.
Why do you catch grass instead of mulching
Mulching has it’s place but we believe the neat and tidy finish that you get when catching the grass is worth the extra effort. Catching also helps prevent the spread of weeds by removing the weed seeds from the lawn.
Do I need to be home during the service?
Some people prefer to be there but you don’t need to be. We do need access to the property though so sometimes we need to make arrangements if there are locked gates or pets in the yard. Just let us know if that is the case.
What happens if it rains on my service date?
Delays due to rain are part of the business. You will be contacted in the event of delays and we will do our best to get the job done as soon as we can.
